Ranbir Kapoor , the son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, is the latest Bollywood entrant from the famous Kapoor family. Ranbir has got a dream start to his Bollywood career. He is making his debut in Bhansali’s project Saanvariya , which also introduces Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor. Even as Ranbir is ready with first movie, talks have begun to cast him in more projects. His dad, Rishi Kapoor, is looking forward to revive RK Films banner with a movie starring Ranbir in the lead role.
Ranbir Kapoor now plans to carry the legacy ahead and direct a film for his family’s production house. However,Ranbir promises that his directorial debut will be nothing like the projects that have so far emerged from RK. He declares that his film, which he intends to direct within the next two years, will be very cool and contemporary. It will be entertaining and relevant, is what he promises. Unknown to his parents, Rishi and Neetu, Ranbir has been working on a script for the past two years. He feels that there is a director which is lurking inside him from even before the actor in him surfaced. The only other thing that he is willing to reveal about the film is that he would like to cast his father to act opposite him.
