Shooting of ‘DASHAVATHARAM’ completed:-

Recently Kamal turns into 53,Born on November 7, 1954, Hasan is one of the few actors who has always believed in experimentation. he is one of the few film personalities who has tried his hands in all aspects of film making, be it direction, lyrics, choreography, screenplay or story writing.
‘His film Dashavatharam has completed shooting and started its post production works. In this Kamal plays ten roles and also would be dubbing in ten different voices in the movie. Re recording works are done using latest technologies. This movie is directed by K S Ravikumar and produced by Oscar V Ravichandran. Music of this movie is composed by Himesh Reshammaiya. Its scheduled to be released for Sankranthi. The movie is being shot in different locations in India , Malaysia and the US .’
Kamal, always known in the industry for trying out something new, is handling ten different roles in this movie. It looks like he is trying to break the record of Sivaji Ganesan’s nine roles in ‘Navaratri’. In this movies for the first time Asin is playing dual role, Mallika Sherawat dons an altogether different cap in this movie. She appears as a CIA agent while Jayapradha, the well-known character artiste, plays another important role in the movie.
“Kamal will be playing the role of both the hero and the villain in the movie. An Australian is handling the camera and is said that his work has come out very well. Michael Westmore from Hollywood is taking care of the make ups for Kamal. The first scene of the movie was alone shot at a cost of 3 crores and Kamal appeared as a Brahmin in it.”
About Kamal:- ” He has also lent his voice to a number of songs in films like Abhay, Chachi 420, Hey Ram, Sadma in Hindi and many more in south Indian languages, Hasan, a four time National Film Award winner, began his career as a child artist and initially did a lot of stage plays. His repertoire now boasts more than 200 Indian films.
He was awarded India’s fourth highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri for his services to Indian cinema in 1990.
He has won 18 Filmfare awards and his film Nayakan has been rated as one of the top 100 films of all time by Time magazine in 2005. ”
