The new movie in the combination of Jagapati Babu and Srikanth is titled NAGARAM, and the same has been announced at Club Jayabheri, Hyderabad. Real Estate group Sri Mitra Group is making their entry into the Telugu film industry with this new film on Mac Media and Blue Sky Entertainment banners. Kishore Babu and Anji Babu are producing it, while M V Chowdhary presents the movie. Chakri has scored the music.
A fashion show was held before the title was anounced to public. Fashion designer Sahil Gulati’s new design collection was showed by Models on the ramp. In this film Jagapathi Babu is doing a guest role.
SS Rajamouli, heros Rajasekhar and Arjun, Rajeev Kanakala, Ajay, Shivaji Raja, Devi Sri Prasad, Surendher Reddy, SV Krishna Reddy, Krishna Vamsi, B Gopal, Murali Mohan and many more, attended for this title release. Director CC Srinivas will be his debut movie, new heroine Kaveri is playing the lead role with Srikanth. Producer M V Chowdhary shared his views as, “For the past 10 years, we have been friends with Srikanth and Jagapathi Babu. We never seriously thought of coming into production until two years ago. After Khadgam, Srikanth got good mass image but not such characters. We used to ask all the filmmakers to provide him such roles. One day we thought why we shouldn’t give him such role ourselves by producing a film. Since then we have waited for a good mass script. We got this Nagaram which is based on a Tamil film script. We have changed it for good measure and it came out so well,” he added.
